Education Mentors

Education Mentors help primary school children with a migration background with their homework and assist in organising their free time in a manner which is aimed at promoting their social skills and helping them build up networks in their district of the city.

Education mentors also play a role as communicators between the school and the children‘s families, and convey important information to the parents about the German education system. With the scheme each child is given intensive and individual support tailored to its needs and interests.
